In order to fully understand and comprehend the scope of diabetes, we first need to lay some groundwork about:

Diabetes – I will be answering the following questions and concerns:

If you or a loved one has diabetes, you are or will soon be, very aware of all the negative, complicating factors that diabetes brings to its victims.  Such as:

  •  Heart disease
  • Strokes
  • Reduction of circulation to limbs resulting in –
  • Gangrene in toes, feet and legs which in turn results in
  • Amputations of toes and limbs which has
  • Resulting very high death rates  within 2 to 5 years after amputations

The causes and results of diabetes are complicated and difficult to describe.  And there are several compounding and complicating factors that intertwine between and around all the functions and systems of the body of a diabetic.

That is why it is so important to reduce or eliminate as many of the compounding and complicating factors of diabetes as possible.

So now to answer the obvious questions on your mind:

The First Question you should want the answer to is: 

What is the ROOT CAUSE of Diabetes? 

How Does Diabetes Start?

Free Radical Damage is what starts the Inflammation that causes the diabetes.

One of the MAJOR FACTORS OF DIABETES is FREE RADICAL DAMAGE that causes INFLAMMATION  of the cells and tissues of the body, especially the cells that produce insulin.

This inflammation causes many problems, starting with:

  • Inflammation of the beta cells in the pancreas where insulin is made
  • This inflammation causes the beta cells – which produce the hormone insulin – to reduce or stop producing insulin
  • Inflammation irritates blood vessels – which causes plaque to occur in the arteries (or atherosclerosis)
  • The plaque in the arteries causes heart attacks, strokes and a reduction of circulation to the limbs, feet and toes
  • Lack of circulation and inflammation in the arteries which causes reduced blood supply to the nerves and other tissues in the limbs, feet and toes causing the death of those cells or gangrene making it necessary to amputate limbs and extremities
  • A lack of blood supply to the nerves causes pain but also numbness.  So if you get an injury to a limb, you don’t notice it and it gets infected by MRSA or some other one of the “Nightmare Bacteria” that are now out there.  (These Nightmare Bacteria are now  resistant to all known antibiotics.  They were create because of the overuse of antibiotics in the first place.)
  • A  sore from whatever source refuses to heal because of a lack of blood circulation to the damaged tissue because of inflammation causing blocked arteries
  • Or the sore won’t heal because it is infected with  MRSA or antibiotic resistant bacteria or lack of circulation

Free Radical Damage and the resulting Inflammation are the irritants in the body that causes the cascade of  cellular and tissue malfunctions which leads to all the diabetes related health issues, as listed above.

This high level of tissue damage and diabetic symptoms leads to a less than optimal lifestyle and then to an untimely death.

Free Radicals are:   In scientific terms:

  • Free radicals are an extremely reactive one or more unpaired electrons in the outer orbit of an atom.

  • Oxidative Stress is directly linked to all disease processes (like diabetes, cancer, Alzheimer’s, Dementia,  atherosclerosis, hardening of the arteries, fibromyalgia, gout, arthritis, premature aging, etc)

  • Oxidative Stress occurs when there is a transfer of electrons or hydrogen from a cell in your body to that FREE RADICAL  or oxidizing agent.
  • Oxidative Stress creates a chain reaction in the cells causing disease and death of the cell.
